TANNON & CRISTINA HERMAN
WILDHEART MINISTRIES
HARRISBURG, PA
Tannon and Cristina Herman are the founders of Wildheart Ministries, a Christ-centered nonprofit working to transform the Allison Hill neighborhood in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania—one of the city’s most underserved and overlooked areas. Since moving into the neighborhood in 2013, Tannon and Cristina have committed their lives to walking with their neighbors and pursuing long-term community renewal from the inside out.
Wildheart Ministries exists to build bridges that transform communities—through mentoring relationships, neighborhood clean-up and revitalization, affordable housing, entrepreneurship, and food security programs. Whether it’s through the Love the Hill initiative, The Hill Farm, or Harrisburg Community Development Corporation, the goal is the same: to see hope restored, dignity affirmed, and lives transformed through the love of Jesus.
Tannon serves as Executive Director, overseeing Wildheart’s operations and vision, while Cristina, as Managing Director, provides leadership in strategic planning and financial oversight. Cristina also founded Colina Coffee, a social enterprise reinvesting in the neighborhood. Together, they are raising their three daughters in the very community they serve—living out a model of incarnational ministry.
Under their leadership, Wildheart has mobilized thousands of volunteers, cleared millions of pounds of trash, helped reduce crime, and is creating pathways for families to thrive. Their work reflects a Kingdom mindset: showing up with hope, partnering in love, and believing that nothing is beyond redemption.
