Matthew 4:4 (NIV)  ^“Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

In this season of fasting and praying, it is such a crucial time to be reminded of the heart behind it: we depend on Him for everything. When we pray and fast and seek the Lord, we are reminded that He is the One holding our lives together. Amen.
