Nehemiah 8:10 (NIV) “Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

As we continue to fast and pray in this season, the joy of the Lord is in the fulfillment of His word and in the fulfillment of His promises. We see this firsthand in the story of Jesus: for the joy set before Him, He endured the cross. His road was paved with obedience. In Him is the fullness of joy!
