Healing the Heart Prayer Ministry assists people in removing roadblocks in their lives which inhibit them from achieving the fullness of their destiny in God. This Scripturally based ministry teaches life changing principles from the Word of God, applying the blood of Jesus and His cross to ungodly individual and generational patterns. This is accomplished through individal and/or team ministry appointments.

Loved to Life

In conjunction with Healing the Heart Prayer Ministry, Covenant of Peace Ministry provides Loved to Life classes and various workshops to teach Biblical principles of transformation and sanctification.

The goal of our inner healing team is to facilitate the process of healing by examining the fruit of a person’s life. Through the ministry of the Holy Spirit, bad fruit can be traced to bad roots, i.e. judgments, inner vows, unforgiveness, resentments and lies adopted into personal belief systems earlier in life.

Prayer sessions apply the Blood of Jesus, the Cross, and the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ to the deep wounds and practices of the heart. Healing and wholeness result as we allow God’s faithfulness to complete the work He has already begun in you (Philippians 1:6)

Eight week Loved to Life I classes were taught in February and October at Life Center. Loved to Life I was also taught in April at Freedom Fellowship in Maryland. In addition to ministry appointments each person on the team teaches during the classes taught at Life Center. Loved to Life II was taught for the first time in September by Linda Forster.  This newly written class focuses on teaching people ministry skills as utilized by the Healing the Heart Team. Cherie Anthony ministered to children along with Brad Jersak from Canada in January in York, PA. Workshops conducted this year were Boundaries by Linda Forster in October and Nourishing Your Unborn Child by Cherie Anthony and Laurie Diller in November. John and Karren Turner went to Austria with the youth missions trip and ministered healing to hearts in Graz.

There have been a few personnel changes this year as Carolyn Bettinger and Jenn Patil have taken sabbaticals to pursue more of their destiny–Carolyn as a personal trainer, Jenn is in nursing school. We bless their endeavors. Lori Gregor has joined our team and we welcome her amazing gifts of compassion and service to the team.

Excitement permeates our team for 2009. The team as a whole has decided to pursue licensing as chaplains and continue further to be certified to respond to local and/or national disasters. In addition, Linda Forster, John and Karren Turner will be traveling to Austria in March for times of teaching and impartation. Cherie Anthony is writing a course for parents on how to minister to their children. Linda is beginning work on a book. She is also working with a church in Carlisle to set up a prayer ministry team there. To date, five prayer ministries have been birthed from Healing the Heart Ministry at Life Center. Once again we marvel at living in a prophetic word that many orphanages would be established for the hurting.

Today you can choose life and begin your journey to real freedom in Jesus Christ. Our trained and experienced team has a heartfelt desire and commitment to see adults and children come to genuine freedom. By facilitating the process of sanctification through personal prayer ministry and classes, we have witnessed remarkable transformations through the power of the Holy Spirit. We extend to you this same hope for change, a hope that does not disappoint because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts. (Romans 5:5)
