History

After its start in 1979, Life Center (at the time called Word Fellowship) has grown greatly and has been extremely blessed by our loving God. Using prophets and miraculous events at strategic times in the church history, God has called forth Charles and Anne Stock as senior pastors, provided a prophetic destiny to the corporate body, foretold a new facility, initiated spiritual renewal, and completed a building program and started a school of ministry in record time. Most importantly, God has provided Life Center a vision and graced us with His presence stimulating passionate worship and prayer, profound teaching, dynamic youth and children’s programs, and a point where heaven touches earth.

Charles and Anne Stock joined Word Fellowship in 1988 in answer to a prophetic word given to the congregation and after a God-orchestrated series of events that had brought them and their family to Pennsylvania from California. Under their leadership as senior pastors, God has greatly transformed and blessed the church.

In October 1991 Kim Clement, an internationally known prophet, spoke that Word Fellowship would change its name and would locate to a strategic property on a hill. In fulfillment of this word, after being completely transformed by the renewal ignited by the Toronto blessing in 1994, the name of the church was changed to Life Center Ministries International in 1995. Life Center has since fully embraced the River of God.

Later in 1999, also in fulfillment of Kim Clements prophecy, miraculous events initiated a process that sold the old building and provided a supernatural opportunity to acquire the Global Leadership Center, the showplace of the old AMP Corporation, which was finally accomplished in March 2000. The acquisition of this prime property was also confirmed by a number of prophetic words from notable prophets like Dick Mills, Nick Pappis, and James Goll. James Goll, with no prior knowledge of this former AMP property, prophesized that “The Lord is giving you an AMP…it is when the Apostolic is Made Personal…

Since moving into to this outstanding building and property, God has continued to bless us with His tangible presence, rapid growth, and ministries that heal body and soul. Enjoying passionate worship and prayer, inspired preaching and teaching, great youth and children’s programs, a vibrant prayer counseling ministry and a growing network of church and ministry affiliates, Life Center has continued to expand. To accommodate this expansion, God provided for a 24,000 square foot sanctuary and classroom facility and initiated the Joshua School @ Life Center school of ministry—both of which were inaugurated in September 2003.
